Weatherables® vinyl fencing is engineered with the strength to withstand just about anything mother nature can throw at it, including hurricane-force wind gusts of up to 130 M.P.H.! To prove it, we partnered with Intertek/Architectural Testing, Inc. and put our vinyl fencing to the ultimate test. To conduct the testing, we created hurricane strength winds using the wind generated from two massive seven-foot-tall airplane propellers fueled by high-powered V8 engines. Fence panels must be installed following the high-wind installation instructions provided in the installation guide to withstand the windloads tested.
