Weatherables® panels are designed to connect to routed vinyl fence posts, so wood posts are not a direct replacement. Using them may require shorter rails and separately purchased mounting hardware. Confirm that the posts are sound, straight, and properly spaced before reviewing the available fencing accessories. 

Panels can often be shortened, but fixed spacing requires careful measurements. Since many styles have roughly 7/8-inch picket spacing, a cut may leave a wider gap near the post. Measure between the posts at the top, middle, and bottom, then compare those numbers with the panel specifications.

The type of mount depends on how and where you're installing the fence. Concrete mounts are typically used when installing posts on a concrete surface, while U-mounts connect fence rails to posts when needed. Color options vary by semi-privacy fence style. Many models are offered in White, Tan, and Khaki, though certain sizes may have fewer choices. Confirm that the panels, posts, gates, and post caps are all available in your chosen color before ordering.
